Jobodex App Terms of Service

Welcome to Jobodex. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Jobodex mobile application (the “App”) and any features, content, or services provided through it. Please read these Terms carefully.

By downloading, accessing, or using Jobodex, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use Jobodex.

About Jobodex

    Jobodex is a personal career-management tool that helps you organize job opportunities, maintain work history and skills, track reminders and events, generate customized resumes, and store relevant information related to your job search.

    Jobodex does not provide legal, financial, career placement, or employment advice. All content you generate in the App remains under your control.

    Eligibility

      You must be at least 16 years old to use Jobodex.

      If you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

      Your Data & iCloud Sync

        Jobodex stores your data locally on your device and automatically synchronizes it using Apple’s iCloud service, tied to the Apple ID signed in on your device.

        Your data is:

        • owned by you,
        • stored in your private iCloud account,
        • not accessible to the developer,
        • not collected on any third-party servers.

        Because iCloud is a service provided by Apple, Jobodex cannot guarantee:

        • availability of iCloud services,
        • sync timing or reliability,
        • recovery of data lost due to iCloud outages or Apple account issues.

        You can manage iCloud settings at the system level in iOS, iPadOS, or macOS, but Jobodex does not currently offer an in-app option to disable iCloud syncing.

        You are responsible for maintaining your own iCloud backups.

        Subscriptions, Lifetime Licenses & Payments

          Jobodex requires a paid subscription or lifetime license to continue using the App after any free trial period. Subscriptions and lifetime licenses are sold and managed through Apple’s App Store.

          When you start a subscription:

          • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
          • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
          • You can manage or cancel your subscription via Apple ID account settings.
          • Refunds are governed by Apple’s App Store policies.

          The developer of Jobodex cannot issue refunds directly.

          User Content

            You are solely responsible for any content you enter into Jobodex, including job history, resumes, notes, reminders, achievements, or files.

            You represent that:

            • you have the right to create and store this content,
            • it does not violate the rights of any third party,
            • you will not upload illegal, harmful, or abusive material.

            Jobodex does not review or monitor your content.

            Acceptable Use

              You agree not to:

              • use Jobodex for unlawful purposes,
              • attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the App,
              • circumvent subscription or licensing features,
              • misuse Jobodex in ways that could harm others or the developer.

              Violation of these Terms may result in termination of your right to access the App.

              Intellectual Property

                All trademarks, branding, logos, designs, and other intellectual property associated with Jobodex are owned by Brettrospective.

                You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or reproduce the App or its content except as allowed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA):

                Disclaimer of Warranties

                  Jobodex is provided “AS IS”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

                  The developer makes no guarantees that:

                  • the App will be free of errors,
                  • the App will function without interruption,
                  • job information imported from websites will be accurate or complete,
                  • generated resumes will meet the requirements of any employer.

                  You use Jobodex at your own risk.

                  Limitation of Liability

                    To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Jobodex shall not be liable for:

                    • lost data,
                    • lost employment opportunities,
                    • indirect or consequential damages,
                    • issues arising from Apple services (iCloud, subscriptions, App Store),
                    • or damages resulting from using or inability to use the App.

                    Governing Law

                      These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

                      If a dispute arises, you agree to resolve it exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, USA.

                      Changes to These Terms

                        The developer may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.

                        Your continued use of Jobodex after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
