Every job opportunity in Jobodex moves through a series of statuses that help track progress from discovery to decision.
These statuses form the backbone of the job-tracking workflow, giving a clear picture of where each opportunity stands and what comes next.
Where to Find Job Statuses
Job statuses appear:
- On each job opportunity card — shown as a colored chip with an icon.
- In the Job Opportunity detail view — under Status, where the current status can be updated.
- In filters and dashboards — to group and sort opportunities by stage (for example, “Interviewing” or “Offer Accepted”).
Statuses can be updated at any time as the search progresses.
What Job Statuses Do
Statuses help organize the job search pipeline.
They allow Jobodex to:
- Visualize progress across all leads in the Dashboard and Kanban view.
- Trigger reminders and notes tied to specific stages.
- Generate resume drafts and analytics that reflect the most active stages of the search.
Each status is color-coded and includes a descriptive label to make scanning opportunities easy at a glance.

Tips for Using Job Statuses Effectively
- Start simple. Keep new leads at Imported until ready to review.
- Move one step at a time. Advance a lead only when there’s a real change in progress.
- Use filters. Filter the Job Leads list by status to focus on active applications or upcoming interviews.
- Stay consistent. Consistent status updates keep the Dashboard and analytics accurate.
